New FSA Regulatory Regime for Travel AgentsConnected Travel Insurance (CTI) Policies sold by Travel Agents come under the remit of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) from 1st January 2009, and Travel Agents wishing to sell insurance after this date will need to consider their options. Applications for authorisation will be accepted from 30th June 2008, and firms will want to ensure that they submit their application by 30th September to benefit from the discounted rate, however when applying, Travel Agents will need to confirm that they will meet the various aspects of the rules from Authorisation date.
